Michael Hirschler
Founder
With a career spanning more than 20 years in human resources leadership, Mike has only focused on people. Working for acclaimed luxury brands, Mike’s people expertise spans all disciplines. Immediately prior to founding Peoplecraft Advisors, Mike served as Vice President - Early Careers at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. In this executive position, he transformed university relations for the company by partnering with leading hospitality management schools to tailor student experiences and drive diversity recruitment.
Mike has experience building learning and development programs, creating staffing models for a medium sized business, coaching for performance management and establishing market-leading compensation structures. With a keen eye toward employment law, Mike served as the President of the Seattle Area Hospitality Human Resources Association representing the tourism industry in collaboration with the City of Seattle.
The philanthropic spirit is tremendous in the Pacific Northwest. Mike never could have imagined the success of Run of Hope Seattle when he co-founded the event with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Guild in 2009 to support Seattle Children’s Hospital. Since then, Run of Hope has contributed more than $9 million to research in Seattle.
During his spare time, Mike enjoys exploring everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer with his partner, Starrla, and his pup, Sadie.
Tasha Starr
Senior Advisor
A graduate of Northern Arizona University’s School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tasha began her Human Resources career as a Coordinator at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Tasha quickly built a reputation for her attention to detail and ability to provide sound advice based on all aspects of an issue. As a result, Tasha received a series of promotions at Four Seasons properties in Hawai’i, Seattle and Wyoming before being appointed Director of People and Culture at Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole. In her executive role, Tasha was responsible for a cultural shift that emphasized empathy and accountability.
The pull toward hospitality operations was strong for Tasha, so she transitioned to the position of Director of Rooms where she oversaw Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge and Guest Services. In 2021, Tasha joined Columbia Hospitality as Hotel Manager at The LARK in Bozeman, Montana; she was promoted to General Manager just one year later.
Tasha has been a member of the Peoplecraft team since early 2021, providing clients with her unique blend of both Human Resources expertise and operations executive leadership experience.
Tasha is a tremendous fan of spending time outdoors with her husband, Chase, and sons, Grayson and Maverick.
